12 August 2026: Isle Of Man Releases National Action Plan and Financial Crime Strategy

The Isle of Man government has released its Financial Crime Strategy (2026-2031) and National Action Plan (NAP) which are both available on the counteringfinancialcrime.im website.

The National Action Plan translates the findings of the National Risk Assessments into a clear programme of action, bringing together key priorities across government, law enforcement, supervisors and industry. It provides a structured and time-bound framework to strengthen the Island's AML/CFT/CPF regime through targeted, risk-based and outcomes-focused measures.

Complementing this, the Financial Crime Strategy 2026-2031 provides the strategic direction for the next five years. Building on the previous strategy, it aligns national objectives with the actions identified through the National Risk Assessments and supports a collaborative approach to protecting the Isle of Man from financial crime.

Together, these documents demonstrate the Isle of Man's ongoing commitment to maintaining a strong and effective framework that meets international standards, mitigates evolving risks, and supports the Island's reputation as a responsible and well-regulated international business centre.

The documents, as well as the suite of National Risk Assessment (NRA) documents can be found on the Countering Financial Crime website
