The Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) has released a webinar on GSC Inspections. This video is the fourteenth in a series covering the AML/CFT inspection process from initial self-assessments to the onsite inspection and final report. This video covers Technology Risk Assessments, focusing on effectively demonstrating that you are meeting code requirements.

At the AML Forum in July 2024, attendees were asked to rate their knowledge of the Inspection process. Almost one-third of respondents felt that their knowledge of the Inspection process “Could be better” and attendees asked for more transparency regarding the Inspection process to be provided. This AML inspections webinar series was created in response to the feedback received.
The GSC's AML/CFT/CPF inspections team also pass on data to the Outreach team to ensure the GSC provides targeted, enhanced outreach on areas with increased deficiencies. As an all-encompassing area, Risk-Based approach, most notably the establishment and maintenance of effective BRA/TRA/CRAs, has been highlighted as an area of ongoing focus. As such, a series covering the Business, Technology and Customer risk assessments individually has been released.
